Breast Development

At birth, both girls and two boys nipples and a very small amount of breast tissue. This can be done by boys and girls and this phenomenon is called witch’s always milk and naturally. During puberty a girl’s breasts begin to grow, while they go through different stages. The breasts grow by adding more fat and arises because the milk gland tissue will develop. When a woman is pregnant for the first time, there is still a developing place in the breasts to prepare them for their role in feeding the baby. The breasts are usually higher during pregnancy.

Silicone & Breast Cancer

Possible link between silicone and cancer

A rare form of non-Hodgkin’s cancer in the breast is more common in women with silicone implants. That letter from the Amsterdam Cancer Institute researchers in the international medical journal JAMA. It is a very rare form of cancer in the breast is not breast cancer. Per one million women with silicone implant according to the researchers get one to three women per year to the disease.

Small risk

In the Netherlands, about 300,000 women with silicone implant. The researchers themselves do not worry, just because the risk of the cancer type is so small. In the 1994-2006 period is eleven of the 389 women with lymphoma (a malignant tumor of the lymphatic tissue) in the chest, this rare form of non-Hodgkin’s cancer. Five of these eleven women had a silicone implant.

Female Breast Anatomy

The breast is usually the female breast indicated: every woman has two breasts that they breast-feed her baby. Breasts are a secondary sexual characteristic of women, and also sexual functions. The Latin word for breast is mamma (plural: mammae, the scientific name for the class mammals is also Mammalia), this term is now used in the medical world still. Sometimes with “chest” also referred to the chest, as in the phrase “snap” or “near the chest. Other mammals have breasts, which they suckle their young, though more often called milk glands or udders.
